Metamorphic Mind by ~Kabs:iconKabs:

I walked through the cyclic doors,
I probably locked them;
The birds flew with the sky-blue,
Or was that black?
The moonlight was blinding
Though that could’ve been a streetlight.
I took a left to the Post Office
For the letters in my hand;
No, the letters made up my notes
I took a right to my school.
On the way, I think I stopped at King Pizza
And bought myself some fish and chips.

My coat or my blazer, one of the two,
Got caught on a tree or bush.
I wasn’t sure how to undo it
So I left it there.
I thought I saw a friend in the distance
But I can’t remember my eyesight
Being that good, so I was probably wrong.

I got to the gates, after which, was blank
I’m sure I remember
My world around me turning white,
Or was that black?

To include the theme 'Doubt' in the poem, I was trying to constantly change the setting throughout the poem, making the speaker continuously question themself.
